Remuneration: From andpound;50,000 per annum plus package (Negotiable DOE)

We are seeking an experienced and environmentally friendly Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) to join a major national engineering contractor in delivering an energy transition project at Point of Ayr. This flagship programme involves converting a traditional gas compression and treatment facility into a state-of-the-art CO£ compression hub, supporting the UK''s industrial decarbonisation objectives.
As the Temporary Works Coordinator, you will provide governance, assurance, and technical oversight for all site temporary works activities. You will act as the key link between temporary works designers and construction teams, ensuring all solutions are compliant, safe, and executed to programme.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all temporary works activities and maintain the Temporary Works Register.
- Ensure design briefs are accurate and align with site requirements.
- Oversee design checks, approvals, and issue permits to load/dismantle.
- Supervise erection, use, maintenance, and dismantling of temporary works.
- Implement and monitor change control processes.
- Conduct inspections, audit, and ensure proper maintenance.
- Review and approve contractor or in-house designs.
- Manage interfaces across production and subcontractor teams.
What we require from you£
- Valid TWC CITB Certification (or equivalent) and CSCS card.
- Degree or equivalent experience in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Proven experience in temporary works on large infrastructure or industrial projects.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
