Our team plays a critical role in:Supporting underwriting decisions through modelling and analyticsManaging and optimising portfolios against risk limitsEnsuring high-quality exposure data for internal and external reportingDelivering post-event analysis and catastrophe loss assessmentsProviding data for capital modelling and reinsurance placementDriving continuous improvement and automation across processesKey Responsibilities

As a

Senior Catastrophe Analyst , you will:Lead delivery of accurate and timely portfolio assessments and reportingProvide catastrophe modelling and bespoke analytics for underwriting teamsDrive process improvements and automation across exposure managementCollaborate with research teams to enhance risk viewsSupport outward reinsurance data preparation and submissionsDeliver training and support to internal stakeholders and offshore partnersEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements including Solvency II, RDS, LCM, and moreEngage with brokers and external partners as neededWhat You’ll Bring

Degree in Natural Sciences, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or GeographyExperienced with catastrophe models (RMS, AIR) and aggregation toolsStrong technical skills in SQL (R, Python, VBA desirable)Experience with data dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.)Familiarity with reinsurance and retrocession conceptsExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsA proactive, analytical mindset with a passion for continuous improvementWhy Join Global Insurance Organisation?
