Futures are working on behalf of a well-established and growing manufacturer within the building materials sector, currently seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join their production team. This is a key role focused on ensuring product quality, compliance, and consistency across the manufacturing process.As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for monitoring and verifying product quality at various stages of the manufacturing process. You will work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure all materials and finished products meet internal and external standards.Roles and Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goodsEnsure all products meet industry standards, specifications, and compliance requirementsRecord and document inspection results accurately, highlighting any non-conformancesSupport root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issuesWork collaboratively with production teams to improve quality performanceMaintain and calibrate inspection equipment where requiredAssist with audits and ensure adherence to quality management systems (e.g. ISO standards)Monitor health and safety and quality procedures on the shop floor The Ideal Candidate Previous experience in a quality control / inspection role within manufacturingExperience within building materials, construction products, or heavy industry is highly desirableStrong understanding of quality standards and inspection ..... full job details .....
