Design Engineer Mechanical ProductsAbout the Role: We re looking for a skilled and motivated Design Engineer to join our team and play a key role in the design and development of our mechanical product range. Working within an ISO 9001 environment, you ll be responsible for delivering high-quality, manufacturable designs using advanced 3D CAD tools.Key Responsibilities: Design mechanical components and assemblies using NX, Inventor, and AutoCAD.Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models for manufacturing and assembly.Perform engineering calculations, including FEA and FMEA analysis.Manage new product development projects and support continuous improvement initiatives.Produce technical documentation such as material specifications, IOM manuals, and Bills of Materials.Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to value engineering (VAVE) efforts.Support testing, supplier visits, and customer interactions as needed. What We re Looking For: Minimum 5 years experience in mechanical design within a 3D CAD environment.Strong knowledge of design for manufacture and assembly (DFMA).Experience with FEA software and rotating machinery is highly desirable.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.A proactive team player with a positive, solutions-focused attitude. Qualifications: Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) preferred.HNC/HND with relevant industry experience will also be considered.IEng registration is a plus.Proficiency in 3D CAD ..... full job details .....
