This position offers an immediate start with a consistent run of work for the right candidate.We are seeking a reliable, safety-conscious operator who can efficiently manage site materials and support various trades to keep the project moving on schedule.Key ResponsibilitiesMachine Operation: Safely and efficiently operating a telescopic handler to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment across the site.Loading and Unloading: Unloading delivery vehicles, checking goods against delivery notes, and safely transporting materials to designated storage areas or work faces.Trade Support: Distributing materials (such as bricks, timber, and steel) to various trades on-site to ensure minimal disruption to their workflow.Pre-use Inspections: Conducting daily vehicle checks (including oil, water, tyres, and hydraulics), logging defect reports, and ensuring the machine is kept clean and fit for purpose.Site Mobility: Navigating challenging terrain and tight spaces safely, while being constantly aware of ground conditions and changes to the site layout.HandS Compliance: Adhering strictly to site speed limits, lifting plans, and safety regulations, including working in conjunction with a vehicle banksman ..... full job details .....
