Graduate Maths Academic Coach September 2026 start, to July 2027 £90 - £111 per day, term time only ''Good'' secondary school, Ward of Edgbaston Provide support on a 1:1 and small group basis in Maths at KS3 and KS4The Role:You will work with the maths team to raise attainment through targeted 1:1 and small group support, plus in-class help when needed. Your sessions will prioritise the topics that block progress most often: number fluency, fractions, decimals, percentages, ratio, algebra foundations, geometry, and problem solving. You will tighten KS3 fundamentals so pupils access lessons with fewer barriers, then move into KS4 exam habits where pupils select a method quickly, show working clearly, and check answers with confidence. The national curriculum expectations across KS3 and KS4 emphasise fluency, reasoning, and problem solving, so your support will reflect those priorities and build consistent routines pupils reuse across topics. You will keep sessions structured: recap, model, guided practice, independent attempt, then a short check to spot misconceptions early. You will record brief outcomes after each session and share them with the teacher, so targets stay sharp and groups change when pupils secure the skill.
