The successful candidate will be responsible for setting, operating, and (where required) programming CNC lathes to produce precision components to tight tolerances.Key Responsibilities:Set and operate CNC lathes and turning centresRead and interpret engineering drawings and technical specificationsProduce components to exacting standards and tight tolerancesSelect and set appropriate tooling and work-holding devicesUse precision measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, gauges) to verify accuracyWork to health and safety and quality standardsCollaborate effectively within the team to meet production targetsThe CandidatePrevious experience operating and setting CNC lathes (1-3+ years)Ability to read and understand engineering drawingsSkilled in setting up tooling, fixtures, and work-holding devicesStrong attention to detail and commitment to ..... full job details .....
