We follow the RCN national emergency nursing framework competencies, with support from the PDN and senior nursing team to achieve competencies at level one and a mapped pathway into ED and trauma courses at level 2.When submitting your application, please describe a time you prioritised care for multiple patients in a fast-paced clinical environment, including how you decided, tools or systems used, and the outcome.Main duties

The department offers several secondment prospects including the Physician Response Unit. This opportunity integrates a nurse into the pre-hospital MDT response unit. Successful development leads to integration into the REACH (Rapid Emergency Assessment Coordination HUB) service offering emergency care in the community. We encourage nurse champions to lead areas of care and support quality improvement projects.You must have more than six months of acute post-qualification experience, with the resilience to work in a busy environment. You should be self-motivated, an excellent communicator and possess strong organisational and clinical skills.About us
