This is a vital role at the heart of the school, supporting students'' physical and emotional wellbeing and ensuring a safe, supportive environment.Welfare Officer - Role OverviewAs a Welfare Officer, you will play a key role in supporting students across KS3 and KS4 by managing day-to-day health, first aid, and wellbeing needs. Your responsibilities will include:Providing first aid support to students and responding to medical incidents in line with school policiesSupporting students who are unwell, injured, or experiencing emotional distress during the school dayManaging the school medical room and maintaining accurate medical and welfare recordsAdministering medication in line with parental consent and safeguarding proceduresLiaising with parents/carers regarding student illness, injury, or ongoing medical needsWorking closely with safeguarding leads, pastoral teams, SENCOs, and attendance staffSupporting students with ongoing ..... full job details .....
