HGV MechanicThis is an opportunity to join a well-established, independent commercial vehicle service provider specialising in the maintenance, servicing, and repair of HGVs and Fleet Vehicles on Full time, Permanent basis based in Hereford. The business supports a range of logistics and transport clients, delivering high-quality, compliant, and reliable vehicle maintenance services. You will be working as part of a small, skilled team of technicians in a hands-on, workshop-based role.What You Can Expect•Working hours:Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 5:00pmFriday: 7:00am - 4:30pm•Salary negotiable depending on experience starting at a minimum of £38610.00 per annum•28 days holiday including bank holidays•Supportive, close-knit team environment with strong technical expertise•Varied workload across HGVs, trailers, and commercial fleet vehiclesWhat You Will Be Doing•Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance, and inspections on HGVs and trailers in line with DVSA standards•Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment and technical knowledge•Completing repairs efficiently to minimise vehicle downtime while maintaining high safety standards•Conducting safety inspections, MOT preparation, and compliance checks•Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with legal, health and safety, and company procedures•Accurately recording work carried out, parts used, and inspection findings•Supporting breakdown response and reactive maintenance where required•Working ..... full job details .....
