This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled diabetes specialist to provide high-quality care and support to patients with Type 1, Type 2, gestational, and complex diabetes needs within community and outpatient settings. Key Responsibilities Deliver specialist diabetes nursing care and clinical assessments. Provide education and support to patients, families, and carers regarding diabetes management. Initiate, review, and adjust diabetes treatment plans in line with clinical guidelines. Support patients using insulin therapies, insulin pumps, and continuous glucose monitoring systems. Promote self-management and healthy lifestyle interventions. Work collaboratively with consultants, GPs, dietitians, podiatrists, and other healthcare professionals. Essential Requirements Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration. Significant experience working as a Diabetes Nurse Specialist. Experience managing patients with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes.
