Overview

Finatal is partnering with an exciting, high-growth, private equity–backed SaaS business to hire a CFO who will lead the buy and build strategy and drive the company through its next phase of growth and prepare it for a successful exit. The business has achieved 71% year-on-year growth, with projected year-end revenue of £645m, up from £350m rev last year. The incoming CFO will lead another round of professionalization of the finance function and the wider business, oversee the integration of previous acquisitions, execute a robust buy and build strategy and work closely with the CEO, Board, and investors to shape and execute the exit approach. They will also play a key role in commercialization initiatives, helping to drive new revenue streams and optimize existing ones.

ResponsibilitiesLead the buy and build strategy and support the company’s growth and exit plans.

Drive professionalization of the finance function and the wider business.

Oversee integration of previous acquisitions.

Execute a robust buy and build strategy in collaboration with the CEO, Board, and investors.

Shape and execute the exit approach.

Contribute to commercialization initiatives to drive new revenue streams and optimize existing ones.

Qualifications

Proven track record as a CFO in PE-backed international SaaS businesses.

Extensive experience preparing businesses to exit and leading buy and build strategies.

Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Experience delivering a successful exit and background in non-financial controls and pricing/profitability management.
