We’re building the foundations of a world-class function, and anyone who joins will be building the future in the context of a hyper-growth start-up.As a Lead Product Designer at Flo, you''ll be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of talented designers, while also taking a hands-on approach to design. You''ll be at the forefront of design in a product stream, working closely with cross-functional teams to define strategy, guide design direction, and nurture a strong, collaborative team culture.Your Experience

Must have:Strong (usually 12+ years) experience working as a designer and at least 3 years'' experience as a people/team manager.A strong portfolio showcasing expertise in crafting user-centered designs for mobile platforms and interactive prototypes, particularly within complex and ambiguous project scopes.Ability to lead design projects from ideation to launch, resulting in impactful products that significantly impact users and business metrics.A deep understanding of user experience principles, interaction design, and visual design, with a keen eye for visual details.Ability to navigate ambiguity and make decisions across intricate projects and diverse teams, thriving in fast-paced environments.Outstanding communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate your team, build consensus, and influence stakeholders.A track record of mentorship and raising team quality, fostering a positive and supportive team environment that encourages creativity and collaboration.Demonstrated leadership in recruiting, onboarding, and developing product designers, providing clear direction, support, and continuous feedback.Passion for continuous learning and growth, enhancing ways of working and collaboration, building strong partnerships across the business.Good understanding of Design Systems and A11Y, to ensure consistency, scalability, and inclusivity.Competence in Figma and common design and prototyping tools.Nice to have:Prior experience working in healthcare.Experience in a product-first tech environment.What you''ll be doing

You''ll be responsible for:Overseeing crucial design projects within the product stream, ensuring alignment with goals and customer needs.Being hands-on when needed, with strong resource management skills.Ensuring all design work meets high standards, reviewing proposals, and maintaining transparency.Guiding product designers in planning and executing design, supporting their development.Helping define product vision, initiatives, and roadmaps, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.Planning and coordinating design work, respecting commitments, and overseeing rituals and ceremonies.Maintaining visibility of design initiatives through documentation and tools like Jira.Ensuring design work follows best practices and accessibility guidelines.Presenting work in reviews or demos.Collaborating with other Leads on tooling, standards, career development, etc.Fostering a culture of collaboration, trust, and cross-functional teamwork.Creating an environment for the team to thrive autonomously with clarity and resources.As a People Manager (40% capacity):Mentoring and coaching designers, supporting their growth.Assisting with career development and defining growth opportunities.Managing key people processes like salary reviews and evaluations.Recruiting and onboarding new team members.Salary Range: Lithuania - Starting from €7900 gross per month.
