This is an exciting opportunity to work within a specialist setting that is committed to inclusion and helping students overcome barriers to learning. The academy provides personalised education and tailored support for young people with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), ensuring every student can achieve both academically and personally. Day-to-day of the role: Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to students with additional learning needs. Create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment. Work closely with Teaching Assistants, SEND professionals, and pastoral teams. Support students in achieving their academic, social, and emotional development goals. Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning requirements. Monitor progress and contribute to student reviews and support plans. Required Skills and Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent. Experience working with SEN pupils, alternative provision, SEMH, ASD, or additional learning needs.
