Registered Manager - Children''s Residential

Location: Burton upon Trent
Salary: -49,159 - -52,251 DOE
Bonus: Up to -10,000 (Performance / Ofsted Related)
Contract: Full Time | Permanent

We are recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a Children''s Residential Home in Burton upon Trent.

This is a key leadership appointment within a service that has recently undergone significant change and improvement following a previous Ofsted outcome. A robust improvement plan is in place, leadership has been strengthened, and the organisation is committed to achieving long-term stability and positive outcomes for young people.

The successful candidate will benefit from strong local and central support across safeguarding, quality, HR, training, and therapeutic services.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the day-to-day running of the home
• Ensure compliance with Children''s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards
• Promote safeguarding and positive outcomes for children and young people
• Lead, develop, and support the staff team
• Manage care planning, risk management, and operational performance
• Participate in the on-call rota

Requirements:

• Level 5 in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
• Experience within Children''s Residential Care
• Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding
• Leadership or management experience within a residential setting
• Full UK Driving Licence
