Inspect and sign off temporary works before use. Key Responsibilities Check design briefs and risk assessments. Issue permits for excavation, shoring, and crane lifts. Brief site teams on temporary works procedures. Stop unsafe work immediately if risks arise. Maintain the site temporary works register. Requirements Valid SMSTS or SSSTS card. CITB Temporary Works Supervisor course certificate. Experience in gas networks, utilities, or heavy civils.
