Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Daily Supply Location: Beeston, Nottingham Salary: £85 - £95 per day Start Date: TBC Contract Type: TemporaryAbout the Role:GSL SEN Education are seeking passionate SEN Teaching Assistant who is wanting to gain experience working with SEN children. We are working with a local mainstream primary school nearby to Beeston, who need staff on a weekly basis to cover any sicknesses/absences that may occur.This role is on a day-to-day basis (Monday Friday), due to the nature of the role you may receive a call on the day of work between 7am 7:30am.Key Responsibilities of a Special Needs Learning Support Assistant: Build trusting relationships with students using a restorative approach.Support students with complex mental health and emotional needs.Help demonstrate the value of education to students.Assist in creating a safe and nurturing learning environment.Work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure each student receives the necessary care and guidance.Working 1:1 with students offering extra support Key Requirements of a Special Needs Learning Support Assistant: Teaching Assistant Level 2 or equivalentA sincere passion for working with children who have special educational needs.The ability to build strong, comfort-based relationships with students.A genuine interest in understanding the challenges faced by young people with mental health and trauma issues.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Resilience and adaptability to ..... full job details .....
