MK Search have partnered with a leading M&E contractor with a strong presence delivering notable projects across sectors in partnership with leading main contractors who are looking for a mechanical project engineer to join their team on a notable commercial scheme they are delivering in Reading.-

Reporting to a mechanical lead, you will join the project with 6 months left to run to take ownership of the technical elements of the mechanical package across the scheme through to PC.-

They have another very sizeable project in the Berkshire region you will move onto a take control of from pre-construction phase once the intial scheme is complete.

Duties

• Managing mechanical packages from pre-con through to commissioning and handover.
• Technical submittal reviews and managing RFI processes.
• Overseeing sub-contractors and ensuring high standards of health, safety, and quality.
• Procurement of plant and specialist mechanical equipment.
• Working closely with the Commercial and Design teams to keep the project on track and under budget.

They are open to people on a contract or permanent basis, with sign off to pay a very attractive salary or day rate (CIS or Ltd)-
