Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer

Location: Leeds, Yorkshire

Salary/Benefits: -25k - -35k + Training & Benefits

A successful outfit in the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry is seeking a reliable and experienced Water Hygiene Engineer. The role will be covering sites across Yorkshire and areas of the North of England, so good access to major routes is essential for easier travel across the region (i.e. M1/M62). You will be conducting pre-planned ACOP L8 compliance tasks across a variety of client contracts. Experience / Qualifications:

• Will have experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer
• Excellent industry technical knowledge (ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines)
• Flexible to travel in line with company requirements
• Good communication skills
• Strong literacy, numeracy and IT skills

The Role:

• Undertaking a wide range of ACOP L8 compliance duties across commercial, public sector and local authority premises
• TMV servicing
• Showerhead disinfections
• Inspections, cleans and disinfections on CWST
• Cleans and disinfections on cooling towers
• Sampling from closed systems
• Chlorinations
• Regular water sampling and temperature monitoring
• Producing regular service reports
