Educational Psychologist
About the RoleThe London Borough of Redbridge is seeking qualified and experienced Educational Psychologists to support the Educational Psychology Service in delivering high-quality statutory SEN work.This role will focus on contributing psychological advice as part of the Education, Health and Care Needs Assessment (EHCNA) process. You will assess and advise on the strengths, needs, outcomes, and provision required for children and young people, ensuring all work is completed in line with current legislation, statutory duties, and Redbridge quality standards.You will conduct face-to-face assessments within schools, educational settings, and family homes across the borough and produce high-quality psychological advice using the Redbridge EHC advice template. Two days will be allocated per Educational Psychology advice completed.Key ResponsibilitiesUndertake psychological assessments of children and young people as part of statutory SEN processes.Provide clear, evidence-based psychological advice to inform Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments (EHCNAs).Assess and identify strengths, needs, outcomes, and appropriate provision recommendations.Conduct visits to schools, educational settings, and family homes across Redbridge.Maintain accurate records and written documentation in accordance with service procedures and confidentiality requirements.Work collaboratively with the SEND Team, families, schools, and wider professionals.Ensure all reports and advice meet Redbridge ..... full job details .....
