Job DescriptionABOUT THE ROLE

As a Head of Maintenance at a Barchester care home, you''ll ensure a clean and well-maintained environment so residents feel at home and staff can perform their duties effectively. Creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere is part of our commitment to delivering first-class care and support.You can expect variety in this role. You''ll handle tasks within the care home building, gardens, and grounds, such as fixing leaks or planting bulbs. You should be comfortable working independently, leading a team, and supporting the General Manager with annual budget planning. Additionally, you''ll liaise with contractors for specialized jobs outside your team''s expertise.ABOUT YOU

The wellbeing of our residents will be your top priority. You''ll ensure all work respects their needs. With hands-on property maintenance experience and at least one trade skill, you''ll be capable of handling diverse maintenance tasks.
