Finance Assistant LeicesterUp to £32,000 per annum + benefits Macildowie Finance is working exclusively with a well-established business in Leicester to recruit a Finance Assistant. This is a varied, hands-on role covering day-to-day accounts, month-end support and general administration. You will work closely with the Financial Controllers while also providing occasional cover across other areas of the business. Finance responsibilities Process purchase invoices and allocate payments Reconcile supplier statements and resolve queries Prepare supplier payment runs for approval Post journals, prepayments and bank transactions Complete bank reconciliations, including foreign currency accounts Prepare schedules and support the month-end process Process expenses, company card transactions and mileage claims Maintain the fixed asset register Prepare internal recharge invoices Support sales and service invoicing Assist with audit queries and provide supporting information Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records Additional responsibilities You will also provide occasional cover and support across other areas of the business.
