The role - Technical Compliance Coordinator Fresh People are recruiting for a Technical Compliance Coordinator for an established and respected company within the UK fresh produce industry based near Maidstone in Kent. This company is a market leader in the sourcing, production, and distribution of fresh produce to top-tier UK retailers. As they continue to evolve their compliance and sustainability standards, they are now seeking a dynamic individual who is passionate about technical integrity, food safety, and environmental responsibility. Key Responsibilities: Liaise with suppliers to collect and review due diligence documentation Upload and manage data on both internal and customer compliance platforms Conduct supplier risk assessments and monitor performance across supply periods Manage chemical surveillance testing for inbound product Conduct traceability and recall exercises as needed Maintain and update supplier approval lists Collate and trend environmental data including food waste, carbon emissions, and sustainability metrics Ideal Candidate Profile: Degree educated, preferably in Food Science, Environmental Science, or a related discipline Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, and ideally Power BI Experience with online sustainability or compliance platforms Strong project management, organisational and communication skills Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage large data sets Self-starter who can work both independently ..... full job details .....
