2 x Quality Inspector Start Date: ASAP Salary: £28,000 - £32,500 depending on experience Location: Waterbeach, Cambridgeshire Hours: 37.5 hours Monday to Friday (1pm finish Fridays) onsite We are currently seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector for our client to ensure that products are inspected in accordance with the correct requirements, specifications, and materials as agreed upon with the customer. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various departments within the business and ensuring that products supplied are manufactured in conformance with relevant design data and specifications. Key Responsibilities: Approve products to drawings and customers supporting documentation. Provide assistance and support within the business regarding product conformance. Operate singularly or as part of a team that optimizes inspection resources effectively. Record non-confirming products in a descriptive manner to assist Quality Assurance Engineers. Conduct internal audits within departments. Knowledge: Ability to use measuring equipment such as rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers to inspect, test, and measure products (Essential). Strong proficiency in reading technical engineering drawings (Essential). Previous history and knowledge of FAI processes would be beneficial.
