Location: Cambridgeshire
Setup: Flexible - 5 days onsite or 4 onsite / 1 day from home
Salary: Circa -75,000 (depending on experience) + attractive package

We''re looking for a dynamic Head of Procurement to lead a talented team and oversee significant spend across multiple fresh produce categories. This pivotal role offers the scope to shape supplier strategy, build strong grower and customer partnerships, and ensure world-class procurement delivery.

• Leading and developing a procurement team, setting strategy and driving performance

• Managing substantial multi-category spend

• Building and maintaining long-term supplier relationships to secure quality, value, and reliability

• Partnering with Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations to deliver a joined-up commercial strategy

• Analysing market trends, identifying risks, and driving innovative sourcing strategies

• Advising the leadership team on procurement strategy and commercial opportunities

• Representing the business externally with growers, suppliers, and customers

• Proven senior-level procurement experience within fresh produce

• Strong leadership skills to motivate, coach, and develop a team

• Commercially astute, with a track record of managing significant budgets and delivering results

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills

• Analytical thinker able to balance strategic vision with hands-on delivery
