This is an exciting opportunity to join a school with an outstanding reputation on a full-time temporary basis.Your new roleAs a teaching assistant within this school you will be joining an experienced and supportive EYFS cohort, working in collaboration with a reception class teacher to promote the engagement and focus of pupils by utilising an array of learning equipment and building strong constructive relationships. Your main responsibility will be to support a high function ASD pupil on a 1:1 basis. This pupil is and extremely outgoing and bright individual but due to an additional PDA diagnosis they can become dysregulated and disengaged with learning. To promote their attainment you will deliver a pupil-led curriculum model to lead them to learning and associate lesson material with their key interests.
