You will provide key and varied operational support to the HR Manager, and other department managers: Supporting the HR team with day-to-day operational HR activitiesAssisting with recruitment, including advertising vacancies, arranging interviews and communicating with candidatesManaging employee onboarding and induction processesMaintaining accurate employee records and HR databasesPreparing contracts, offer letters and other employment documentationSupporting absence management processes and maintaining attendance recordsAssisting managers with HR administration and employee queriesCoordinating training schedules and maintaining training recordsSupporting employee engagement initiatives and company eventsEnsuring all HR administration is completed accurately and in line with company proceduresAssisting with disciplinary, grievance and investigation meetings by preparing documentation and taking notes where required We would expect the successful Trainee HR Assistant to be able to demonstrate a strong desire to progress a career within an operational HR role.
