About the role: This job is for a Carpenter who has a good general knowledge of commercial and domestic buildings. In your duties as a Carpenter there will be statutory checks in line with Approved Code of Practice (Building Regulations, HBN and HTM). You will be expected to work on your own initiative as well as working within a team. You will need to possess knowledge of building structures and fabric as well as fire compartmentalisation and fire door maintenance including planned preventative maintenance (PPM). Applicants should be able to arrange their work, parts and materials and carry out tasks in a safe and tidy manner. Key responsibilities include: Carrying out maintenance repairs promptly upon request. Conducting daily property inspections and preventative maintenance checks, recording relevant readings and findings. Ensuring proper care of tools, materials and equipment.
