Warehouse Operative

Location: Bourne End
Salary: £25k - £26k per annum DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Warehouse Operative to join a growing team in Bourne End.
Working as part of a small team and reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for a variety of warehouse duties, helping to ensure customer orders are accurately prepared and delivered on time.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is organised, reliable and has excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking, packing and checking customer orders prior to delivery
• Learning and operating the in-house stock control system
• Supporting the goods-in and goods-out processes
• Checking product weights, batch numbers and expiry dates
• Using delivery portals and labelling software
• Maintaining accurate stock records
• Working safely when handling drums and other warehouse products, which can weigh up to 30kg

The successful candidate will:

• Be motivated, reliable and enthusiastic
• Have excellent attention to detail
• Be comfortable working as part of a small team
• Be computer literate and confident learning new systems
• Have a careful and methodical approach to picking and checking stock
• Be comfortable with manual handling and lifting items up to 30kg
• A forklift licence would be an advantage, although this is not essential
