Our client is a leading food manufacturer, part of a multi-million-pound European group, with a reputation for product quality which is second to none and industry leading standards. Due to engineering departmental growth, they are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their close knit team of engineers.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Maintain all reactive and schedule maintenance on food production & packaging machinery
- Electrical & mechanical fault finding and repairs
- Site services & facilities maintenance - effluent plant, water treatment, building maintenance
- PLC - electrical fault finding
- Project work - new machine installations & upgrades
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Looking for an experienced time-served engineer
- Multi-skilled - but open to either electrical or mechanical biased
- Must have worked in food manufacturing
- Ideally level 3 qualified or higher in engineering
- 17th or 18th Edition beneficial
- Must have access to own transportation due to location of factory
- Strong technical skills - electrical & mechanical fault finding & diagnostics
- Team player, working in a small team
- PLC - electrical fault finding beneficial
