Music Teacher - Performance Part-time (0.8 FTE, 4 days a week) Salary: £210-220p/d Location: East London Start Date: ASAP Closing Date: 17th September 2024 Join our team at a vibrant educational institution in East London as a Music Teacher, focusing on performance. This role involves planning, delivering, and assessing UAL units within the music curriculum and providing comprehensive tutorial support to learners. Day-to-day of the role: Prepare and teach UAL Level 3 Music performance courses. Act as a personal tutor providing pastoral support to students. Plan course delivery in line with study programme requirements. Arrange, monitor, and supervise learners on study programmes, educational visits, and field trips. Plan and prepare for inspections, Moderator reports, and visits. Assess students through formative and summative assessments, internal verification, and supervision of assessments. Maintain records and perform statistical checks related to teaching and across courses. Act as the main point of reference for students in a particular year or course group, including participation in student induction, providing educational and welfare guidance, and preparing administrative returns and reports. Required Skills and Qualifications: Degree or equivalent in a relevant area of specialism - Music Performance.
