What Makes This Role Different?
You''ll work directly with children and young people aged 6-19, helping them overcome barriers to learning and develop their communication, confidence and independence.
You''ll also work alongside experienced teachers, therapists and healthcare professionals, giving you valuable insight into different professional approaches and career pathways.
Students may have needs including:
Autism
ADHD
Learning difficulties
Communication needs
Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
Your Day-to-Day Role
You''ll help students to:
Engage with learning and classroom activities.
Develop communication and social skills.
Build confidence and independence.
Manage emotions and develop positive routines.
Participate in individual and group activities.
You''ll also provide 1:1 and small-group support, contribute to a safe and nurturing environment, and provide personal care where required.
