Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Graduate Town Planner to join their friendly and experienced team.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience, work alongside experienced Chartered Town Planners, and develop the skills needed to build a successful career in planning.

As a Graduate Town Planner, you''ll support the delivery of planning projects from inception through to determination, working closely with senior planners and clients across a diverse portfolio of developments.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with the preparation and submission of planning applications.
• Undertaking planning policy and site research.
• Preparing Planning Statements, Design & Access Statements, and supporting documentation.
• Liaising with local authorities, consultees, and external stakeholders.
• Supporting client meetings and project discussions.
• Monitoring planning applications and providing updates to clients.
• Keeping up to date with changes in planning legislation and policy.

The successful candidate will have:

• A degree (or postgraduate qualification) in Town Planning or a related discipline accredited by the RTPI.
• A genuine enthusiasm for the planning profession.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong research, analytical, and organisational abilities.
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• A full UK driving licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
