This is a key role responsible for the strategic management and performance of the Council''s diverse non-housing property portfolio, including operational, commercial, leisure and heritage, and community assets. The postholder will play a pivotal role in ensuring the Council''s estate is used effectively and sustainably, delivering maximum financial, social and community value while supporting the Council''s corporate objectives and political priorities. Working closely with senior officers, elected members and external stakeholders, you will lead the development and implementation of asset management strategies, drive service improvement, and ensure the Council''s property assets are managed in accordance with best practice, statutory requirements, and sound commercial principles. Please note: this role is focused on asset and estate management.
