Site Engineer

Keyman Personnel is working with a leading civil infrastructure contractor who is seeking a Freelance Highways Site Engineer to support a key refurbishment and infrastructure project involving the installation of roads and footpaths. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer to join a high-performing team on a high-profile project in Suffolk. Key Responsibilities: Setting out works on site using modern surveying equipment (e.g. robotic total stations, GPS) Assist in the delivery of highway and public realm infrastructure including roads, footpaths, kerbing, drainage, and ducting Ensure works are carried out to project specifications, drawings, and quality standards Maintain accurate site records including as-builts, RFI logs, and QA documentation Support site management in supervising subcontractors and trades Liaise with design and project teams to resolve technical issues promptly Contribute to health and safety compliance and promote safe systems of work Key Requirements: Minimum 3 years of experience as a Site Engineer in highways or civil infrastructure Proficient in setting out using the latest survey equipment Experience with roads, footpaths, drainage, and general highways works Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications Familiarity with CDM regulations and civil engineering site procedures Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and work under pressure Full right to work in the UK Based in or ..... full job details .....
