Outreach Tutor - Chester

The Opportunity

Prospero Teaching is recruiting committed Outreach Tutors to support children and young people across Chester through personalised 1:1 tuition.

You''ll work with learners who may be unable to access mainstream education, require alternative provision or need additional support to re-engage with learning. Every tuition package is tailored to the individual, allowing you to build strong relationships and make a lasting impact.

Position Details

* Location: Chester
* Position: Outreach Tutor
* Hours: 5-15 hours per week (flexible)
* Start Date: September 2026
* Duration: Ongoing

Experience, Training and Qualifications

The successful Outreach Tutor will have:

* Experience teaching or tutoring on a 1:1 basis
* Experience supporting learners with SEND, SEMH or those who are disengaged from education
* QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification (preferred)
* Strong communication and behaviour management skills

To be eligible, you must:

* Hold the Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
* Provide two professional child-related references
