The product solutions you develop will drive our marketplace health to new highs, provide a superior experience for our buyers and sellers and break new ground on supply and demand matching.What you will doDefine and communicate a compelling product vision and roadmap for Motorways marketplace, aligned with company objectivesDrive business Impact: Own specific revenue/growth metrics and demonstrate how you are driving not just impact for Motorway but also creating significant value for our customersMake your product team 2x more effective, not 2x busierPlace 3-5 big strategic bets per year that could each be company-changing winsSee through the hundreds of good ideas to identify the greatest product opportunities (and explain why)Execution and DeliveryLead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, data scientists, and other specialists. Structure problems so your team produces breakthrough work, not incremental iterationsDrive product development from concept through launch, ensuring quality and customer impactManage the deployment of production grade DS/ML models by collaborating with DS and ML teams, within established MLOps frameworksMake complex tradeoff decisions balancing user needs, technical constraints, and business priorities.Establish rigorous experimentation frameworks and data-driven decision making processes. Run experiments that produce learning even when they failCross-functional workingCollaborate across the org on strategic initiatives and quarterly planningBrilliantly communicate the what, the how and the why and produce crisp, compelling data-led documentationRequirementsSolid experience in product management, with a proven track record of shipping products that moved meaningful business metrics, ideally within within a marketplace environmentHighly analytical individual, with excellent problem-solving skills and understanding of data science and machine learning concepts.
