We are looking for an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join our team supporting MandE engineering works on the A14 highways project.This is a hands-on Health and Safety role, providing professional HandS support and advice across the project. The successful candidate will work closely with project management, engineers, supervisors and site teams to promote high standards of health and safety and ensure that activities are being delivered safely and in line with relevant legislation, company procedures and project requirements. A key part of the role will be supporting the investigation of incidents, accidents, near misses and other HandS-related matters, as well as compiling clear and comprehensive investigation reports. The role requires a strong site/project presence, combined with the ability to provide effective advice, challenge unsafe practices and support the project team in maintaining a positive health and safety culture.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide professional Health and Safety advice and guidance to the project and site teams.Maintain a regular HandS presence across the A14 project.Support project management and operational teams in meeting their health and safety responsibilities.Undertake regular site-based HandS engagement, observations and monitoring of working practices.Provide advice on safe systems of work, risk assessments and method statements.Review and provide input into RAMS, permits and other relevant HandS documentation.Support the ..... full job details .....
