Our client is a well-established and successful business based in Cannock, and they are looking for an organised and customer-focused Customer Account Manager / Project Coordinator to join their busy and friendly team.

This is a varied role where you will take responsibility for a number of key customer accounts, coordinate projects and act as the main point of contact for customers throughout the process.

The Role

You will manage customer accounts from initial order through to successful completion, working closely with customers, sales and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered accurately, efficiently and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple key customer accounts on a day-to-day basis.
• Coordinate customer projects from initial order through to completion.
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Act as a key point of contact for customers, providing regular updates on project progress and delivery schedules.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, colleagues and the external sales team.
• Monitor and manage stock allocated to customer accounts.
• Identify and resolve issues quickly to minimise disruption to projects.
• Coordinate customer approvals for new product lines.
• Work closely with internal departments to ensure clear communication and projects remain on track.
• Provide an excellent level of customer service while ensuring deadlines are consistently met.

About You

• We are looking for someone with experience in customer account management, project coordination, sales support or customer service.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• A confident and professional communicator.
• Experienced in managing customer relationships.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities at the same time.
• Calm and solutions-focused when working under pressure.
• Confident using Microsoft Office and business systems.
• Proactive, reliable and committed to delivering a high level of customer service.

What's on Offer?

Permanent, full-time position.
Salary of around £30,000.
Monday to Friday, 9.00am–5.00pm.
