Astro Education are supporting a specialist SEN/SEMH school in South Manchester that is looking to appoint a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Support Mentor on a full-time, permanent basis. The school provides a structured, supportive environment with small class sizes, helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and develop the confidence, resilience and skills they need to succeed. The Role As a Behaviour Support Mentor, you will work closely with pupils, teachers and the wider pastoral team to provide consistent support and help young people manage their behaviour and emotions. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting pupils with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour. Building strong, trusting and positive relationships with pupils.
