The-Position

You-will-be-part-of-the-Production-team-in-the-factory-in-Basildon.-You-will-primarily-work-in-Second-Stage-(Through-Hole-soldering-and-SMT-re-work)-working-in-a-modern-working-environment.

Main-responsibilities

1.-Hand-soldering-conventional-components,-some-re-work-may-be-required-for-both-conventional-and-SMT-components.

2.-Pre-forming-components.

3.-Reading-work-packs-to-determine-product-instructions-and-specifications.

4.-Inspecting-finished-work-to-ensure-it-meets-quality-standards-and-resolving-defects-as-necessary.

5.-Accurate-marking-&-labelling-of-products.

6.-Maintaining-a-clean-and-safe-working-environment.

Skills,-knowledge-&-experience

• Experience-and-knowledge-of-soldering-to-IPC-class-2-is-essential.-Class-3-is-advantageous.
• Experience-of-working-within-production-of-a-manufacturing-environment.
• Demonstrates-good-manual-dexterity-and-hand-eye-co-ordination.
• Methodical-in-task-completion-and-good-attention-to-detail-/-Able-to-work-individually-or-within-a-team.
• Able-to-follow-verbal-and-written-work-instructions-/-Flexible-and-proactive-approach-to-work.
• Have-suitable-fitness-levels-(for-standing,-moving-and-manual-handling)-and-good-eyesight-for-handling-colour-coded-work-packs.
