andnbsp;We are seeking a compassionate and skilled SEND Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a KS1 student with ASD in a welcoming and inclusive school environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on making a meaningful difference in a childandrsquo;s learning journey, helping them develop confidence, communication skills, and academic progress through tailored support. Contract: Full time, long term andndash; September 2025 start
Salary: andpound;70 - andpound;110
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support for students with SEND needs.
- Foster a safe and engaging learning environment that encourages confidence and independence.
- Assist with communication, sensory learning, and emotional regulation strategies.
- Work closely with teachers and specialists to implement personalized learning plans.
- Encourage social interaction and skill development.
- Adapt support strategies to help students overcome challenges and succeed.
Qualifications andamp; Skills:
- Experience working with SEND students, particularly those with autism, ADHD, or additional learning needs.
- A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to supporting students.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, specialists, and families.
- Ability to create a safe and engaging learning space.
- A passion for helping students succeed and feel valued.
