Location: Glasgow, Scotland (hybrid relocation support available)

Salary:

Up to £65,000 (depending on experience) + Excellent Benefits

Youll play a pivotal role in designing and developing power conversion products and work on real-world challenges in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment with travel opportunities.

About The Role

Lead development of innovative AC/DC and DC/DC power suppliesSimulate and design switching converters using tools like Mathcad, Simplis, SPICE, MATLAB/SimulinkCollaborate closely with mechanical, controls, EMI, and layout teamsPrepare schematic designs, parts lists, and oversee prototyping and testingSupport international engineering activities across a global networkAs this is a global organization there may be opportunities to work out of offices in Europe, Asia, and the US.

What We Need From You

A degree in Electronic/Electrical EngineeringExperience in power electronics, including semiconductors, magnetics, and control theoryHands-on knowledge of LLC, phase-shift converters, active PFCProficient with lab tools (oscilloscopes, ACDC and DCDC loads), CAD software, and structured design processesFamiliar with PCB layout and purchasingExperience in EMC complianceInterest in automation, drones, and smart robotics
