Commercial Accountant Manchester Hybrid Working £40,000 + £7,500 Car Allowance + Study Support An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Commercial Accountant to join the commercial finance team of a large and successful UK organisation. This is a highly visible, business-facing role where you will work closely with operational and sales leaders across a network of regional sites. You will help managers understand their financial performance, identify opportunities to improve margins and provide the commercial insight needed to make better decisions. This position would particularly suit an AAT-qualified accountant or someone in the earlier stages of CIMA or ACCA who has gained solid practical finance experience and is ready to develop into a rounded commercial finance professional. The role You will: Produce accurate period-end accounts, analysis and supporting commentary. Work closely with operational and sales managers to review financial performance. Prepare budgets, forecasts and regular performance reports. Analyse sales, costs, margins, overheads and profitability. Identify risks, trends and opportunities to improve business performance. Provide constructive challenge and turn financial information into practical recommendations. Support the financial evaluation of customer tenders and commercial proposals.
