This position offers a supportive environment and a significant pipeline of meaningful delivery work, ideal for a professional ready to oversee and support impactful projects.Day-to-day of the role:Manage and supervise Clerks of Works carrying out preventative maintenance activities.Lead on project and programme management for surface dressing, micro-asphalt, slurry surfacing, and other treatments.Undertake engineering assessments and make robust decisions relating to highway condition, design solutions, and treatment suitability.Ensure specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements are met on all works.Coordinate multiple live projects simultaneously, maintaining strong communication with contractors and internal teams.Support programme planning, prioritisation, and delivery.Engage with councillors, stakeholders, and operational colleagues as required.Required Skills and Qualifications:Demonstrated experience in preventative highway treatments such as surface dressing, micro-asphalt, and slurry surfacing.Strong civil engineering decision-making capability.Experience managing multiple projects concurrently.Ability to ..... full job details .....
