Our client has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end reporting, and ensuring strong financial controls across key areas of the organisation.Duties will include:Purchase ledger invoice processingSupplier reconciliationsPayment runs, accruals, and prepaymentsSales Ledger activities, including customer account maintenance, invoicing, credit notesMonitor and support credit control activitiesManaging customer queries, overdue accounts, and account reconciliationsLiaise with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of customer credits and financial transaction Prepare financial reports, including credit card analysis, and other management information as requiredMaintain accurate financial records and filing systems while ensuring compliance with internal controls and reporting deadlines.Essential criteria:Strong understanding of Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and Credit Control processes;Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy;Strong organisational and time management skills;Confident using Microsoft Excel and accounting systems BenefitsFull-time, Permanent£27,000.00 per yearCompany eventsCompany ..... full job details .....
