Long Term Futures is seeking a positive, nurturing and engaging Teaching Assistant to support a Year 3 class, combining general classroom support with targeted SEN provision. This is a hybrid role, ideal for someone who enjoys variety and can balance whole-class support with working closely with pupils with additional needs.
You will support pupils with complex needs, including ASD and ADHD, so the school is looking for someone who can bring clear structure and expectations, while maintaining a fun, approachable and supportive presence in the classroom.
About the Role
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCo, your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting whole-class learning across the KS2 curriculum
* Providing targeted support for pupils with ASD, ADHD and complex needs
* Delivering small-group and occasional 1:1 interventions
* Using clear routines, structure and consistent expectations
* Encouraging engagement through a positive, energetic and nurturing approach
* Supporting behaviour and emotional regulation within the classroom
* Helping create a calm, inclusive and well-managed learning environment
This role is perfect for someone who can combine strong behaviour awareness with a warm and engaging personality.

* Experience supporting pupils in KS2, including those with ASD and ADHD
* Understanding of complex needs and behaviour strategies
