OverviewFull Stack Developer Placement Programme. This is a training programme with career placement and fees apply. The programme is designed for individuals with none or limited experience who want to start a career in programming or web development.

Programme Stages

Stage 1 – Learn HTML and CSS (up to 12 weeks). Completion of professional and industry-recognised courses selected to maximise learning and employment outcomes. Includes HTML Essentials and CSS Essentials. Training is delivered through multimedia video tutorials, presentations, and quizzes via an online portal, with an expert tutor and a support mentor who will work with you 1-2-1 or in group sessions.

Stage 2 – Additional Online Training (up to 12 weeks). Advanced courses to prepare you for entry level programming roles. Includes Learn the Command Line (1.5 weeks), Learn Git and GitHub (1.5 weeks), Learn JavaScript (1.5 weeks), Learn Python 3 (1.5 weeks).

Step 3 – Building a Portfolio Website Project (1 week). Guidance to create a personalized portfolio to showcase skills. Optional but recommended additional study courses: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner; Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.

Step 4 – Entry Level Coding placement. Assistance to secure your first role in coding, programming, or web development. Typical starting salaries range from £25K - £40K depending on prior knowledge or experience. Roles may include Junior Developer, Website Support Developer, Junior Web Developer, Content Editor, Wordpress Developer, Junior Software Developer, Junior Front or Back End Development, Development Support.
