Are you a Design Engineer or Project Engineer with a background in Design Engineering and Product Development Are you confident with Design Engineering projects involving sheet metal, mechanical and electro-mechanical components. Can you help support wider cross functional teams working on design changes , creating and managing BOMs , using MRP systems and updating design data to ensure ongoing product success Kingscroft have been asked to recruit for a Design Engineer by a specialist manufacturing business. As the ideal candidate you will have experience of working in complex manufacturing environments creating designs of electro-mechanical systems and helping to control and deliver projects through engineering change , prototype build , test and delivery phases. The design projects are a real mix of new product development and modification and improvement projects on existing product lines. Our client is also interested in applications from mechanically biased engineers or electrically orientated engineers and could adapt the role to suit either discipline.Daily Duties to Include: Product Design using 3D CAD Bill of materials maintenance within MRP system. New Bill of Materials generation within MRP System. New purchased part number set up . PCO (Product Change Order) generation, release and distribution for engineering related activities.
