An independent property group, established for over 20 years, with commercial buildings across the UK, are looking to recruit a surveyor to assist with multiple projects across their portfolio. Do you excel in managing multiple projects and handling diverse tasks? Can you foster strong relationships with your team, contractors and clients? Does your experience demonstrate positivity, adaptability, exceptional client care skills, and a strong willingness to learn?This role will primarily be based at in West London (hybrid), but will require travel across all sites including London, Birmingham and Newcastle. You will attend technical meetings, managing the procurement and tendering process, project management and contractor management, reporting back to Senior Management on progress on a timely basis, and the wider role will involve:Conducting surveysPreparing reportsAnalysing dataProcurement / tender managementProject management,Liaison with contractorsInspectionsDrawings / designs and specificationsManaging smaller building works projects independently and assisting the team on major projectsContributing your technical expertise to the wider teamAssisting the Commercial Director with asset management of the investment portfolioOverseeing leases, facilities management where appropriate and tenant liaisonCompetenciesDegree in Building Surveying or similar equivalent RICS-accredited Full UK driving licence (own car preferred)Proficient in IT (MS Word, Excel); CAD knowledge ..... full job details .....
